Mark Owsley, owner of alabamalawyers.com announced today that the web site has exceeded his expectations for traffic and interest.
"We only started this site in December, but we have already begun to see a considerable increase in traffic and interest. We have received a number of inquiries through the site, thanks to the various fora available right here. We have a feedback page, and we just launched a discussion forum, as an addition to the site. It is already garnering interest after just a few days."
"We're very pleased with the site thus far," he continued. "I've read 'war stories' from other sites and webmasters who generally say that you cannot realistically expect considerable traffic for about six months. I'm quite pleased that our traffic has seen a phenomenal jump in the last two weeks."
To what does he attribute this jump in popularity ? "Several things. First of all, we have done a great job of getting listed with the major search engines and getting fairly reasonable placement there. Secondly, we have entered into a number of partnerships and affiliate relationships with other sites. We know that he average surfer on the web may not need a lawyer, and especially one in Alabama. So, we have endeavored to provide what the public wants - content - and we're continuing to grow weekly."
What kind of content ? "Not only can you learn a little about the law here, you can shop on this site, engage in discussions in our forum, or even file your taxes from here," Owsley answers. "We want to be an interesting and beneficial place to visit and we are scouring the web for advice and beneficial links of interest. Just today, we launched our FREE Alabama Classifieds Section. We want traffic and we are willing to do what it takes to give folks good content. But, more than any one thing, I would have to attribute our initial success to our friends who have affiliated with and linked to us. May we all proper from those relationships."
